Often referred to as IATA, The International Air Transport Association is the world’s largest trade association for airlines and everything linked to air travel, representing 290 carriers in 120 countries accounting for 83 percent of total air traffic.

DG International is proud to announce the company has achieved International Air Transport Association (IATA) Cargo Agent status. The IATA certification is an internationally recognised mark of quality which rubber stamps the organisation’s reputation and authority as a trusted trader in the freight forwarding industry.

Industries from airlines, freight forwarding, air traffic control, government and policymakers, ground handlers, through to industry suppliers and manufacturers and travel agencies are all members of IATA. It is the world’s largest airfreight association, with offices in more than 50 countries.

As an IATA Cargo Agent, DG International are bound by a set of government-approved standards that define the rights and responsibilities of both (us) the company agent and the airlines. It also lists all of the procedures and conditions that agents must adhere to and strictly follow in order to receive official industry approval.
